Foundations for Joy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphans in Southern Asia. We currently care for thousands of deserving children ages 0-18 at dozens of orphanages in Sri Lanka, delivering regular aid and support to close to 5000 kids each year. We consider support for some of the most vulnerable in a society wracked by war, terrorism, and natural disasters to be invaluable.

On a basic level, we work with sites to provide the very best facilities and care for children from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our work ensures shelter, food, water, healthcare, and training to each child that we care for. By directly supplying not only basic necessities but also educational and vocational resources, we hope to lay the necessary foundation for the advancement of these children in today's society, effectively giving orphaned children a second chance at success and joy in life.
