By making a tax exempt donation today you are helping to improve the lives of hundreds of children in Sri Lanka.

As a reminder, 100% of all donations will go directly to the children and will NOT be used for any overhead costs

So, what will the money be used for? About half of all funds will go toward providing basic necessities (such as food and shelter) to about 475 children at nine different sites, while the other half will be spent providing necessary amenities (such as educational materials and electricity) to 375 children at three more established orphanages.

How far will a dollar go? In terms of what individual donations will be specifically used for, here is a brief summary:

$10 – ten toys for ten children
$15 – a children’s book to help encourage literacy and provide entertainment.
$25 – a small, usable piece of furniture for the children
$50 – enough food for 20 kids per week
$75 – enough money for one bed for one child
$250 – a water purifier for one orphanage
$750 – enough to sponsor a child by covering the medical expenses of one orphan for one year in Sri Lanka
